Inspirational Quote

“I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” This quote is from Michael Jordan, The best basketball player ever. He is definitey my favorite player. He has been a great role model. He is not like these new superstars that go to jail every weeknd for miss treating girls or drunk driving. He has never done that to me to islead me. this quote is my favorite quote because it lets me know to keep trying even after i fail.  This quote implies that everyone is human and are never perfect even the best player to play basketball can miss shots. 

Lenten Promises

I think all Catholics should take part in doing a lenten promise. i mean it's only for a little while. It is not that hard and if you are that addicted to whatever you give up you can do that something on sundays. I gave up soda and chocolate which is very hard for me so i tend to load up on these on sundays and take in as much as i can without giving it back. This brings me alot closer to god. It brings me closer to god because if i have to have one of the things that i gave up that much i can see that it is taking too much of my life and not leaving enough space for god.

Future Career

I have always wished to play a professional sport like baseball, basketball, soccer, or football. But, dreaming about these future careers always need a back up plan. These careers are very rare for people to go into. My back-up plan is to help these athletes that have fulfilled my first dream. I want to go into sports medicine. I want to do this because its related to something i love and, of course, it brings in a lot of money. I like to say, "If you can't be an idolizing athlete, then help one" Maybe i will rebel against all the doubters and become a professional athlete. If i try hard and practice a lot, nothings impossible. 

Service project

I am planning to work on a service project this summer and spring. First i am planning on working the baseball camp for the Peoria Notre Dame High School Team for Coach Ryan Williams. In the summer i plan on working the Peoria Notre Dame Boys basketball camp for Coach Eddie Mathews. Then after i plan on working the Mens soccer camp for Coach Bare. We hope to have a lot of people there because we were the 2008 Illinois State Champions for 2a. I will have about fifty hours or more completed by the end of these three. I think these is good because im helping kids get better at things that will keep them healthy and in the long run make them live longer

Paul Harvey

paul Harvey was one of the best broadcasters ever. He just died February 28th. He worked for the ABC radio networks. He was the most listened to radio personality in America.  His broadcasts rank among the top 10 radio network program. he was born a broadcaster. At a young age he began to host a radio show.Harvey was named Salesman of the Year, Commentator of the Year, Person of the Year, Father of the Year, and American of the Year. He was elected to the National Association of Broadcasters Radio Hall of Fame and Oklahoma Hall of Fame, and appeared on the Gallup poll list of America's most admired men. In addition he received 11 Freedom Foundation Awards as well as the Horatio Alger Award. Paul Harvey was named to the DeMolay Hall of Fame, a Masonic youth organization, on June 25, 1993. We will all miss his quotes and enthusiasm on the radio. Rest in peace Paul Harvey.

Podcast

At this moment i am working on a podcast for a movie. My movie is the classic, Remember the Titans. I love this movie because it is about football and racial clashes. It is hard because you have to make your own script and describe the movie in your own words. I am struggling on recording my voice because i have difficulties pronouncing perfectly. Sometimes, i stutter or talk to fast or don't follow the script. I am having success in how much i know this movie because when i was younger i use to watch this movie nonstop.
